Jenny Packham 2015 Collection

October 30, 2014

Jenny Packham’s exquisite 2015 Bridal Collection was inspired by photographer, Madame Yevonde’s photographs of British society. Madame Yevonde created a series of photos featuring society ladies in classic mythological roles, and rightfully named the series ‘The Goddesses’. Using these hauntingly beautiful images as inspiration, Jenny Packham was able to fuse two different styles seamlessly.

The essence of the photos was captured in Packham’s use of soft, romantic colors, and the beautiful Neoclassical shapes of the dresses. Another trend that Packham hit with precision was the use of delicate capes. Delicate capelets floated on the shoulders of the models as they made their way down the runway. We loved the intricate beading on the dresses, and the gorgeous silhouettes inspired by the 1930s.
