Wedding Registries

September 12, 2013

Wedding Registries can be as conventional or unconventional as you want. This is your opportunity to let your guests know the things you want most as a newly wed couple. It is perfectly acceptable to start your registry as soon as you become engaged, that way your guests can start contributing at pre-wedding celebrations like engagement parties, congratulatory brunches, bridal showers, etc. Below are a few different registries to help you chose which is right for you.

Conventional Wedding Registries: Crate &Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond, William Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc.

These registry is perfect for those starting with nothing. Remember to register for more than you need in all different price ranges. This gives guests the option to choose what they would like to give, and not be pressured to pick the last item on the list. Make a day of it, have some fun, and register for everything and anything that you can imagine in your new home.

Perhaps you are ready to lay down some roots, then hatch my house is the perfect place for guests to make donations towards purchasing/building a new home. The concept behind hatch my house is that your guests can make donations to certain parts of the home, for example you can ask for $100 for a new window, or $500 for the front door, etc. It is easy and makes guests feel like they are really contributing to your new life together.
