Favorite Designer: Claire Pettibone

August 3, 2013

One of the bridal industries most stunning and unique bridal gowns are designed by Claire Pettibone. Her couture designs have captured the attention of brides and women worldwide. Claire Pettibone dresses have always been one of my absolute favorites because of her attention to every detail. Her inspiration comes from stories of love, her family heirlooms and various countries and traditions. Currently, she has out three unique collections named An Earthy Paradise, Continuing Collection, and the Windsor Rose China Collection. Using ivory floral embroidery, ivory tulle and crescent draping, platinum silk, silk charmeuse, antique gold, vintage lace and countless other fabrics, Claire Pettibone captures a sense of lightness and innocence with just the right touch of modern sophistication. Her looks are for the woman who is whimsical, ethereal and flirtatious, confident and romantic. Claire Pettibone describes her dresses as “A gentle luxury achieved with precious details and flowing, utterly feminine silhouettes.” I love this first dress, alma, with its guipure embellished neckline and back the gown has a roman goddess effect with a Victorian twist. Another favorite is the Flora with accents of gold vines and 3D flowers, giving a soft garden fairy feel. Check out some of my favorite picks from her collections below!
