Here’s a fun DIY perfect for your flower girl and ring bearer. These beautiful and easily made ribbon flowers will be a great match for your two little helpers at your wedding.

Flower Girl Headband

Ring Bearer Boutonniere

Materials per Ribbon Flower

•  1.5 yards – Style# 02392 1″ Stitched Grosgrain – Blue/White (over 15 colors to choose from)
• 1 Style# 36858 Natural Button 40L/25mm (for exact one call 1.800.9.MJTRIM)
• 2 yards – Style# 39872 3/8” Jute Braid (if your making a headband)
• 1 safety pin

Tools:

• Safety Pins
• Sewing kit and invisible thread
• Scissors
• T-Pins

Directions:

Step 1: Start out by taking the ribbon and folding one end to 4 inches inward, now holding the new end of the folded side, fold the ribbon 4 inches outward. Continue until you make to the end of the ribbon. (Be sure to make it even).  Now, Place a T-Pin in the middle of folded ribbon

Step 2: Slowly turn the top of the pile, while holding the bottom still. This should create a flower. Now sew the ribbon in place

Step 4: For a headband, just attach the jute braid with a safety pin. For a Boutonniere just add a safety pin.
