Stay Warm and Look Hot!
By Bethany

Fall is here and having your wedding during this chilly time of year brings up the question, “What will the bride and bridal party wear to stay warm on the day of the wedding?” There are chic options that will not take away from your look. An inexpensive and elegant option for the bridesmaids is pashmina shawls. These luxuriously soft scarves can be worn in a variety of ways and will definitely keep your girls warm. They can be found on street corners all over New York City (mainly near Fifth Avenue and in China Town) for an amazing $5! They come in a ton of different colors and patterns and make a great gift. Other options are cute cardigans for a preppy feel or little jackets that match their dresses. The bride will want to cover herself in something that will not take away from her gown. A form fitting bolero works perfectly with most bridal gowns. Some designers make bridal jackets that coordinate with their gowns. If they can be purchased separately from the dress, then they can be paired with other styles as well. For fall, stick with lace, taffeta, satin, or silk styles. Stoles are stunning, but too much for this time of year. Save this look for a winter wedding. Some of these little jackets will actually keep you warm, but most of them are made primarily to get you from one venue to another. Plus they are a fabulous accessory to take on and off to get an assortment of looks in your photos. Also keep in mind photos could look strange if you are wearing a strapless gown outside with fall foliage in the background. You do not want things to look out of place.
